Equestrian facilities...

With two stable yards, at Blackbirds and Model Farm, there is always plenty of horsey activity from hacking to regular clinics. We can provide five and seven day livery, diy and a limited number of grass liveries.

Both yards are run by our highly experienced team, headed up by Sue and Beccy, who between them have over 25 years of equestrian experience and are both first aid trained. Sue is a qualified nurse, BHS instructor and stable manager. Combining her medical knowledge and experience, she prides herself in her equine management. She has competed at national level with her homebred Hanoverian and continues to train him up the ladder. Training the horse and rider is an added bonus, concentrating on giving confidence to the rider and ground work with the horses. Beccy has her National Diploma in Equine Studies, BHS Stage 2 & NVQ Level 3 in Equine Management. She has a particular interest in dressage and so far has competed her homebred up to affiliated Elementary with the goal of training & competing at the higher levels.

We have plenty of well maintained grazing and free draining soils, meaning we can offer all year-round turn out. Each yard has all the essential facilities needed, floodlit outdoor arenas with a covered viewing bench, as well as many grass tracks around the farm. We are fortunate enough to be surrounded by some of the best hacking in the area, with miles of tracks and bridleways, without having to go near a busy main road.
